CITB

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) was established in 1993 to support the state’s building and construction workforce.
Funded by a 0.25% levy on building and construction projects over $100,000, CITB invests in training and development initiatives aimed at attracting, training and retaining skilled workers. It offers subsidised training for apprentices and workers, supports school-based programs and provides financial assistance to employers for on and off-the-job training.
CITB also collaborates with industry stakeholders to ensure training aligns with current and future needs, promoting a skilled, safe and productive workforce in South Australia.
