WHS Consultative Committee

How we achieve our WHSW objectives

The AEN SA WHS Consultative Committee is a collection of Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare (WHSW) industry professionals from within the AEN SA membership base and other related stakeholder groups who meet quarterly with a focus on achieving the organisation’s overarching WHSW objectives.

The WHS Consultative Committee is comprised of representatives from the following key stakeholders:

  • AEN SA Members
  • Employers Mutual Limited
  • Gallagher Bassett
  • ReturnToWorkSA
  • SafeWork SA

Objectives

To continuously improve WHSW standards of members.

To develop targeted interventions & strategies on identified WHSW issues to contribute to safety performance of members.

To continuously improve the WHSW knowledge of AEN SA members and host employers.

To provide strategic advice and direction to the AEN SA Board and interested parties on matters relating to WHSW.

Functions

Monitor and analyse industry WHSW performance and trends.

Identifying, develop, implement or recommend targeted interventions or programs in relation to WHSW.

Developing procedures, guidelines and standards for its members.

Assist with WHSW issue resolution.
