About the Event

Would you know how to help if a friend, colleague or family member was experiencing a mental health problem?

Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised training program that teaches participants how to recognise the signs of mental ill-health, provide initial support, and connect people with appropriate professional help.

Over two face-to-face training days, participants gain practical skills that can be used to support adults in the workplace, at home and in the community.

The course will be presented by accredited facilitator Jo Marshall of Culturise who also holds a Master of Mental Health, and brings with her deep experience as a leader across a wide range of roles, including supporting our VET cohorts in the workplace.
